Managing Lot Types and Sizes

Define and organize the different types of burial spaces available in your cemetery, including size, pricing, and display order.

Getting Started

From the dashboard, select Configuration / Settings, then click Lot Type Manager.

Important: You must be a Master user to make changes in this area.

What This Section Controls

Despite its name, the Lot Type Manager functions more like a Grave Size Manager. This is where you define the type of space used for interments.

Examples include niches, standard graves, vault spaces, or any other type of burial location.

Managing Lot Types

When you first open this page, you will see a default grave size already created.

• Edit an existing lot type
• Create a new one by clicking Add New Lot Type

Lot Type Details

When creating or editing a lot type, you can define the following:

Lot Type Description
Describes the interment space (e.g., "Niche", "Average Grave")

Sort Order
Controls how the option appears in dropdown lists and reports

Size
Optional field for physical size (e.g., small niche, large vault)

Price
The cost associated with purchasing this space

Saving and Removing Lot Types

After entering your information, click Save to store your changes.

Note: A lot type can only be deleted if there are no existing records currently using it.
