What input data determines that a grave site is "reserved"?

A grave is marked 'reserved' on the map if a name is inputted for either the interred or the purchaser, but no dates are yet inputted. The moment a purchase date is inputted, the grave is considered 'sold'. And the moment a date of interment is inputted, the grave is considered 'buried'.
