Security and Logins




In a nutshell:

From the dashboard, choose the Security/Users icon. You must be a "master" user under the account to modify this information.

Here you'll see any users you've already established. You can click on an existing username, or click the link to Add New User.

If you need to change permissions for a user, you can do that here.
* Master = full control
* Admin = write permissions but cannot change security, configuration, or map editing
* Images = no write permissions, but can upload images
* View Only = no write permissions
* No Reports = cannot run reports

Once you've set the permissions you want to assign, click Save. If you no longer want a particular user on your account, click Delete.

Suppose you want to add a new user so that you can handshake/link our database to your own website. You could do the following:
* Add a New User
* Put in a unique username and password
* Check both the View Only and No Reports boxes, and nothing else
* Click Save
* When the list of users appears, click on the newly created user to edit
* You'll see new options at the bottom of the subsequent page
* The hyperlink that appears in the first box can be used by your own website as a direct login to your account data for guests so they can search your records and view your maps
* The bottom text box can be filled in with your own website redirect URL so that when the guest visitor logs off of our site they can return safely to yours
